Infant Community (From 18 months to 3 years)
Children enter this environment as from 18 months or from when they walk, sharing their space with children up to 3 years old, offering them the chance to learn to look after themselves, others and the environment around them.
This environment seeks to provide children with a learning experience away from home, fostering independence and a healthy self-image, and developing a positive attitude to learning.

Work program: This is the period of time when children choose a specific material guided by their interest and work with it.
The cycle ends when the child tidies up the material and returns it to the bookcase where they first found it.
During each work cycle, the guide and the assistant guarantee the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of each child, developing and strengthening executive brain functions (complex mental activities, necessary for planning, organizing, orienting, reviewing, regularizing and evaluating the behavior required to adapt efficiently to the environment and achieve goals)
This way, within our “work program”, we work on the contents and goals laid down in the American curriculum, through the following pedagogic areas
- Practical Life
- Sensorial
- Área cognitiva
- Language
- Cognitive area
- Gross motor area (Emmi Pikler pedagogy)
During the second part of the school day, complementary activities are carried out within our “creative program” to consolidate what we call soft skills (communication abilities, the capacity for decision-making and conflict-resolution, team-work, creativity and critical thinking)
These activities are as follows:
The entire program takes place in large and open, orderly, aesthetic, simple prepared environments, where each element is designed to encourage the development of children.
