“STORIES IN ACTION”
Summer Camp Greenleaves Montessori
From June 26 to July 28
From June 26th to July 28th we will have the opportunity to live unforgettable experiences.
At Greenleaves Montessori we have prepared a different kind of summer camp where we will work on language immersion, sports, STEAM and social relations through the theme “Stories in Action”.
The objective of the summer camp is the integral development of the children allowing them to explore iconic stories, improve their English skills, enjoy physical and recreational activities and learn valuable social skills.
At Greenleaves each week will be unique and exciting.
The “Stories in Action” theme allows the children to become actively involved in the stories, through interpretation and dramatization of the characters and scenarios. This fosters their creativity, social skills and self-confidence.
In addition, being in a bilingual environment, children will have the opportunity to learn and practice the language in a real and meaningful context, which facilitates its acquisition and mastery.
The days will begin with sports and cooperative activities based on the chosen story.
Sports activities include gymkhanas, skill tests, team sports, escape rooms and water games.
We will develop language skills (listening, reading, writing and speaking) through different workshops.
We will finish with STEAM activities (Science, Technology, Art and Mathematics), as well as enjoying various activities such as cooking workshop, recycling workshop, music, dance, among others.
In our Summer Camp every week we will enjoy a story in action.
